Galliae, vulgo le Drot, alluit Caput Drotii Capdrot, Bironem Villam Regalem Villereal, Castelliones Castillones, Salvitatem la salvetat, Duratium Duras, Montempsecurum Monteseur, et inter Gerundam ac Cauderot vicos in Garumnam devolvitur. Apud Aimoin. in Vita Abbonis, ubi, inter Dornoniam fluv. et Monasterium Regulae Arot seu Codrot torrentem aut fluviolum occurrere ait, legi vult Hadr. Vales. Drot seu Codrot torrens: ita ut Drot sit nomen fluvii; Codrot appellatio vici ad eius ostium positi, et ita dicti, quasi Cauda Drotii: quae duo, nimirum flumen et rivum, Aimoin. in unum confudit, vide Hadr. Vales. in voce Garumna.
